they looked like these but i believe they are 85 MM in size and weighing like 3-4 lbs a piece.

probably worth about $75 or more a piece .

they also had pure nickel in form as well. they were about marble sized. i left that company because i kept getting sick, their air filtration system ******. and if the power went out they would make us still work in there and try to finish unloading the chromed parts so they dont go to waste. thing was once the power goes out. the filtration system for the chemicals that get released also stopped working. so the whole shop would fill up with chemical stench. sulfuric acid, nickel, copper, chrome tanks. all those chemicals would be floating around the shop in huge plumes of smoke. f that. plus they had to send us out twice a year and get nickel tests done to see if we are consuming to much nickel, its very toxic.

Thats a pretty cool piece ...I may have to try and trade something for a couple...

they arent that shiny. they were a more discolored duller look. mainly because it was for industrial plating and didnt need to be pretty looking.

Do you think they can be polished to a shine ? I was thinking more of a decorative piece maybe mount to wood and make a cool paper weight ...

I think Aluminum is upto around 80 cents a lb thats about 31-32 aluminum cans ...In Michigan that would be over $3 ...I saw where they pay 10 cents a can....on the side of one
