Message: <blockquote data-quote="newusername" data-source="post: 6449567" data-attributes="member: 562064"><p>Science doesn't tell you "you are going to die from xxxx".  Frankly, science doesn't know that with any certainty, and anyone who claims such is lying to you/being unscientific.  What science IS likely to tell you is that based on your condition and the results of testing, the median result is x.  That doesn't mean that it is the guaranteed result, because we just don't have the complete knowledge of the human body to make such claims.  Unfortunately, most people don't understand this simple concept of diagnosis and believe that a miracle happens if someone gets healthy (though of course no credit is given to god when someone of good health drops dead).</p></blockquote><p></p>
