Saz-1500d + Fi Bl 15 OR BXi2610d + Fi BTL 15

So here's the predicament i am in. I own a 2001 Oldsmobile Alero, and the enclosure the sub will be in is about 4 cu.ft before displacement. I am running off of the stock alternator and stock battery up front, but have the big three done in 1/0 as well as a single run of 1/0 to the back. I will be adding a kinetic 1200. I was wondering if the difference between these two would be audibly different to myself in my car? Would the kinetic 1200 and 1/0 suffice now for the 2610d? And if i can only have 4 cuft, would it be worth spending the extra money on the btl? I can get the amps for the same price, the subs are the different story. Thanks ahead for everyone's $0.02. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

The new hifonics make rated at 14.4v. I chose BTL + Hifonics
That;s what i have read was that the new Brutus line makes rms at 14.4v. I have the 1610d right now with no complaints, i am just wondering if it would be worth it considering after this setup i do not plan on upgrading too soon after. I want to make sure i do it the best i can the first time around, because i do not forsee a second in the near future. If there will be a rather noticable difference between the two, i would be willing to scrape up the extra $100...

This thread makes me LOL.

Get the Sundown man. That HIFO might make rated at 14.4, but do you even have the electrcal to keep the voltage up there? Probably not. Especialy with an amp that big.

The Sundown however makes rated plus a little more at 12.8 volts. Plus, Jacob's customer service is top notch and his amps are built like tanks. I would have a 2000d from him but I'm a broke SOB.

Hifonics 2610 and the 15" BTL and u would have to get that batts to back it up, that goes for both amps. And still at 12v the 2610 would make more power than the SAZ 1500. And Maxxsonics has great costumer service also

As long as you have a decent battery, big 3, and even a factory 100 amp(ish) alt, I doubt you would need any extra batterys for the 1500d.

I would look into an AQ 2200 or an MB Quart 2000 also. Both cheaper than the Sundown and do rated as well.

Electrical:

Stock Alternator 105 Amps

Stock Battery Up Front

Big Three in 1/0

One run of 1/0 to Trunk

Power Acoustik 5.0 Farad Cap. (start criticizing, it will be gone in the new setup)

I have been running 1100rms at 2-ohms with little noticable dimming while sitting still, but none while driving.

I plan to add a Kinetik 1200 in the rear.

My voltage has never dipped below 12.2V without the kinetik, how efficient would this be on something bigger than the Sundown, AQ, or MB Quart? (Something to power the BTL efficiently).
