Satellite Phone Anyone? FOR SALE

I have a satellite phone that I do not need, never used, still in box but box has been opened. I don't have pictures but will take some if there is any interest.

Great for trips where cell phone service is doubtful, I got it for my boat but my parents moved and took the boat with them so I have no use for this.

Asking $300 obo....they are going for about that on ebay.

what kind of service do you have to subscribe to?

honestly i have no idea i never really looked into it, my dad bought a bunch of stuff as we planned on doing big boat trips, but never got around to it. I've read a little on google about the phone, i believe it can subscribed to tri-band service which if I am correct would be anything except verizon (t-mobile, att, nextel) and then when the phone cannot connect to those towers it connects via satellite.
