I don't really have many options for plate amps 950 then the next option is only 500 and idk if that would even push it hard enough to be worth it. It would be used for movies and playing music most of the time at normal volumes but hey a guy like to jam out every now and then and I don't want to worry about pushing it to hard.
Ok guys hope someone here can help me out. I've posted this same question on DIY home theater forum with NO help. I've been thinking about building a passive radiator setup using the sundown sa8v2 maybe tuned around 22hz. I am current without a home computer while the new one is being built so I can't use my box building program. So this is just a feeler to see if someone could help me out, if this is a Feasible plan or just a waste of time. If this sounds like it might work would 950 rms be way to much for this little guy. I don't really have many options for plate amps 950 then the next option is only 500 and idk if that would even push it hard enough to be worth it. It would be used for movies and playing music most of the time at normal volumes but hey a guy like to jam out every now and then and I don't want to worry about pushing it to hard. So if any of you guys have a little insight on something like this please feel free to comment below.
