SA10 reading 3ohms

Probably the variance in your dmm. But I'm sure its more like 2.4, 2.5. As long as its not a stupid ohm like 30 and or jumping all around it should be fine. Check the coils if they are shiny new you may have just got a QC fail that had d4 coils instead of d2 like they shipped as. It is yard sale sub's.

Check your DMM see if it's reading right 1st of all. They can be finicky at times.

The actual number for coil impedances will be either slightly lower or higher than the actual ohm on said sub.

What gets me is your just now checking out the subs esp from the YS?? I woulda checked those things 100% inspected before asking a few months later...

they were brand new out the box. kinda hard to believe they were in the yardsale. not a scratch on them!! i did test them out to make sure they played and they passed.

I can almost guarantee they aren't "brand new".

Your overlooking something.....could be as simple as too much excess glue or a small blemish.

I have boughten from the ys before so I know.

only thing i did notice there wasnt much glue for the surround and frame joint.. im leaving the gasket off in case it becomes an issue..

these were the ones from the "box up area"
