what most companys do is cut inhalf of the real worlk rms they will handle because of all the poor installs out there. such as leaky boxes, amps gain up and use of bass boost. returns = loss of money.

the aq sub will easily handle more than rated power it just has cheap softparts....

the spiders and cones are what i dont care for with the aq subs. i dont like several paper thin spiders sandwiched together. aq subs arent high excursion subs eather though. the motors are nice though

They prefer a larger box, but don't necessarily need one to be listenable.

You are an idiot. I can tell you first hand the sdc or hdc will perform great in a 2.2 ft3(yes they work in larger) enclosure tuned to 32hz for the sdc and 35-37(ish) for the HDC.

I was talking to you via PM not to long ago, and you know as much about audio as my 9 year old daughter. You ask a ton of ?'s to many people then just repeat it. Trust me, I tried that with you in PM to see if you would just repeat anything you were told. It was of course true.

Yes, any sub CAN be built better. However, the cost will go up considerably to do so. For the price of a SDC sub it does very well. I would not be surprised if the newer models will be better(as that is how things tend go with companies). Simply bashing them with no actual evidence or use by yourself makes you look foolish at best.

When you have the funds to actually buy a SDC or HDC or even a flea market sub for that matter then, talk. Until then, please do not offer any advice to anyone. Let those who can actually attest to things speak up.
