sa 12 vs gcon

so i ordered my other 2 sa 12s but something happened and i didnt get them i got my money back... So for my question with the gcon having a bigger coil will it handle just the same amount of power I KNOW THE SA'S WILL its rated for more but the sa can take more than its rated anyway will it be able to take say 1k to 1100 like my sa can?

id go with the GCONs, ive ran xcon, and icons and they are all amazing drivers. i pushed more power then they were rated at and they got loud AND low.

i miss my old Icons.

I co-own SSA. Power is really relative on a number of things. There is no requirement saying you need to run rms ratted or 25-50% over rms. There is nothing wrong with headroom when the gains are set properly, but on the other hand, 250 watts is plenty for daily listening per Gcon also. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
