well i just played roulette for the first time a few days ago, i threw down a 20 and turned it into 400 in about a half hour:)

then i got greedy the next day and lost about 80... but im still up 300$ //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif

anybody else ever played this. i was just playing the edges where the odds are 50/50 and your money just doubles, so i just kept doubling it and it gets up into the hundreds real quik...

The trick to winning big money at roulette is having the balls to make a

160$ + bet... but at the same time thats how you lose your ***...

just thought id share.

Roulette is the only table game I'll play at casinos.

I'll usually end up at least breaking even, which is good for me. The one thing I did like about playing table games out in vegas (especially at smaller casinos) is that they give you tons of free drinks. At one point in the game I had 3 beers on the table and was more concerned about drinking than playing. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I'm usually a wussy though and play the numbers. 50/50 odds just don't cut it for me, especially when numbers will pay 35-to-1.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

If you know how to play the table right (and have the money), theres a 90% chance that you can win every time, or at least get your money back.

i was just thinking, that if you bet on two of the thirds, with the same money, say bet 5 on the 1st 12, and 5 on the senond 12 on the same turn, that gives you over 60% chances of hitting one of the two, so youll lose one 5 but, win the other one, and it pays 2 to 1, so you double one bet and cancel the other one out.

You should go up steadily shouldnt you?

try Russian...its soo much fun lol

my buddy from mobile, al is the king of roulette, hes got it figured out to the T, he said its the easiest game on the floor, even easier than blackjack once you know what your talking about...i bet on sports...because im GOOD at that...made ALOT of money in the NBa this year with the MAVS and HEAT...i got PAID...est year ive ever had...

No. Because about a third of the time you will lose both bets -- twice as much as the amount you stand to win, so it roughly equals out.

Then you have not accounted for the 0 and the 00, which provides the house all the edge it needs.

Exactly, forgetting about the 0's there bud. Even assuming you find a European roulette with only a single 0 you're still looking at around a 2.7% vig, most likely you were playing American, with 2 zeros and a 5.26% vig. Compare that to the pass line on craps with a 1.41% or don't pass with 1.36%.

yeah i figured that out i guess... just tried it a bunch on the practice and it didnt work out that well...

Another "system" that people sometimes think will beat roulette is to pick a color, bet on it, and then if you lose, bet on it again - this time doubling your bet. Repeat until you win -- at which time you will win your orginal bet. Try this on your computer games and you may fair ok. Try this at the casino and you will lose your ***.

I think the other poster is right -- craps provide the least house edge. Its either that or Blackjack -- I don't play any of these games. If you are playing against the house then simple math dictates you will lose if you play long enough.

Poker is the only game I will play.
