Hah, he was trying to do too much on that play... I think thats the point that Bush started to give up...

Texas also did a great job keeping him contained, but for a few big plays.

He did that play in High School and thought that the backyard who gives a fuc and I will show them would work in the National Title game. Stupid, just stupid. Prime example of trying to hard. I love him and I think he will be amazing, but he better get smarter.

i dont see how someone can say usc was really better because texas made some really good plays on defense and when texas sputtered they fumbled the ball (for losses usually) they always recovered.

Texas fans saying reggie bush doesnt deserve the heisman/ played terrible: if you were reggie bush, going to the NFL draft in only a few months, would you play your hardest, risking getting hurt and jepardizing your chance to make millions in the league?

USC would beat texas 8/10 games. they are a much better team. Yes they lost but that means they are not the National Champs. however they are still a better team and i believe they'd win if they played again

if you dont have heart in the championship of your sport what good are you? and i still dont know how you can say that usc is better. they loaded up on 4th and 2 to win the game and got stuffed. also texas had more mistakes than usc(not turn overs but fumbles that stalled drives and 2 missed fg's and an extra point) in my book you make more mistakes and still win you are the better team.

just like white from ou he did great everywhere else but the 1 big game and now he is labled as the guy that cant win the big one even though he fits into schemes like the raiders and panthers orgs. probably throws one of the best bombs in the country (even the nfl) but if he gets pressured (big game or actual huge pass rush) he just puts it out there for anyone.

Didn't Vince Young do the exact same thing about 10 minutes later in the game? Does he need to get smarter, too, or is he still the best player in the world in your book?
