Roku movie streaming

Does anyone stream movies with roku? Do you like it? I am thinking of dropping the $99 and signing up for netflix. It's $9 to watch something like 12,000 movies. Keep in mind, I am not a fan of stealing music/movies, so torrents are out.

Thoughts?

My parents have it........and it is okay at best, but IIRC she said they can't get new releases yet and is in the works or something like that.

They come in HD if you have that option, which is nice. Some look good, others don't. Not a bad deal really, but I haven't done it yet.........since I don't watch a lot of older movies anymore.

I do redbox, which is nice..........just wish they came in bluray! Least they still look decent. 1 dollar a night for new releases is the way to go if you ask me. I usually watch 3 movies a week, so 12 bucks a month FTW!

I was thinking of doing this so I don't have to go to the red box. I would rent a bluray from time to time, but not often.

Netflix all the way; I don't stream that much but I love their turnaround time and movie selection. Only issues I have with BDs are they tend to crack from time to time in the mail.

I love the rating features as they have some cool algorithms that predict what you will like based upon your reviews/preferences and correlation with other users.

The only thing that sucks is the top 100 on NF is never updated, still has fawking Crash (2005) as # 1.
