do they really sound like that? i know they won't exactly but are they even close...

i ask because i am looking to get an re se 12 but some of those clips sound really bad...

it sounds like the cone is made out of metal or something... is that just the sound messed up... i'm pretty sure it is... but i figured i ask in the general discussion forum...

the first clip is coo, but the second one what the hell. that sounded really bad.

But its on camera so its not gonna sound the same as if you where their.

Most any excursion video will have HORRIBLE sound. The mics involved just can't handle the bass input, and if there's a hint of clipping, which there almost always is, you'll get that and it will instead play a sawblade/square sine style sound, which is that aweful low buzz.

The exceptions are there. One of the Brahma vids shows a 10" moving without being clipped. It's fun to watch the 5" sub in my room moving along with the sub, it's like being scaled down. =p
