exactly.....500bucks for an amp.....if i pay 500 for an amp then it better do alot more than power my speakers form....it better clean my house and cook me breakfast....well if u run it at 2ohms i guess i could cook my own breakfast on it...heh

im not a HUGE fan of rockford fosgate by any means, but i do admit i like some of their products. however, like all of you, i refuse to pay the price they ask, i paid 325 for a punch 800.2, and i thought that was a decent deal, it was a darn good amp. however, with 325, i coulda gotten myself a jbl bp1200.1 with a 4 gauge amp kit, but i did however like just having the name rockford fosgate in my system, and the extra 50 bucks or so didnt bug me. anyways, i figured if i ever came across a 1 ohm stable fosgate amp that puts out 1500 watts, i wouldnt mind pay 500 bucks for it, but we all know we'll never see that deal anywhere. but still, it'd be nice. however, i would NOT by any means give up my 81000d and fork over an additional 3-4 hundred dollars for a fosgate even tho it was 1 ohm stable, just ranting.

their amps are too pricey i agree. the only think i like from them are the power hx2's...but once again highly overpriced

now now..we all know that rockford watts "hit" harder than JBL and such amps so its not overrated. i mean..my rockford has 400 watts and it beated my friend's JBL 1200 watts. i've been to best buy and the salesman told me this. i believed him because we they say must be true..

it kinda ***** people don't realized that you can get the Lightning audio storm instead of the Power HX2 for less (which will get a tad bit louder and sound quality is decent). instead, they want the name

i've heard of people running their amps at 1 ohms and they say they have no problems with, but then again, other people say they run it at 1 ohms and they have problems with it. fosgate representatives say never run it at 1 ohm, until i hear them say they have made an amp that is 1 ohm stable, i will not be running any fosgate amp at 1 ohm

i never owned there amps but i got 1 10" rockford fosgate punch z in my dads track.. with 300 4ohm watts going to 10" it sounds very clean and very loud.. and it ant even broken in yet.. got a 4 year warenty on it.. so dont have to worry about if it blows or not..
