I installed the rf t2652-s component set with a p600x4 amp. I followed the manual about adjusting the gain with the test tone cd to prevent clipping. I also have t165's in the rear doors hook to the same amp. after a few hours of play time, I got no sound from both the tweeters and one of my mids. I used a mm to determine that both the tweets and one of the crossover wfr output has blown. can anyone tell me the cause of this? my fault? or just a defective product? thanks in advance

For the crossover i tested and compared the voltage from the twtr output compared to the wfr output. The wfr output was dead. Also tried putting mid on twtr output and mid produced sound. And i tested resistance on the tweets, one came up with 0 and other was a wacky number, i cant recall the exact number

if you have a blown tweeter the resistance would be either 0 or OL. hmmm sounds like you tested everything right maybe its just a defective product? was it purchased brand new or used?
