Rockford Fosgate t500-1bd gold or garbage?

Hey guys, I'm thinking about using one of these to run my sa12. I'm primarily concerned with sq but I like have plenty of power when desired. Overhead can be a good thing. Are these amps any good for sq? I know some people say the new RF is junk compared to what made the company, but RF is RF and how bad can these things be? I would probably be running it on a 1 ohm load btw. Any thoughts? Or should I wait until I find somebody on Craigslist with a JL 500/1 or a zapco or audison or something? Btw, I'm a college student so money isn't unlimited.

I've liked every new model fosgate amp I've owned. The fosgates with the fans are my personal favorites but the new models are not junk

yea my T600.2 does something like 798 watts at 4ohms bridged and can do 1ohm per channel or 2ohm bridged and sounds great it pushes my comps nicely and has been on sub duty on a couple of occasions and did well there too.

I would gladly replace my memphis 16-MC2000D with with a T1500.1BDCP in a heartbeat or even the BD series, there good amps and have a clean sound to them you'll be happy with it.

@goingdef wow. I hear these things are rated more along the lines of, you'll never drop below what they say and you'll probably be running a lot more. Haha. What is the t500-1bd? Like 700rms @14.4v 1ohm?

RF, class D, and 1 ohm... All things that shouldnt be in the same sentence as SQ
