rockford fosgate series 1 subs?

My friend is trying to sell me two 12" Rockford Fosgate series 1 subs, but I don't know anything about them. I tried doing a search and I found absolutely nothing. I googled them and found out they are older subs. They produced them back in 94-95 I believe. Does anyone have any experience with these subs or any information? Thanks.
