Rockford Fosgate pressure chamber

while most of you won't care and will respond with a "cool story brah". Today one of Toledo's local car audio stores had its grand opening and Fosgate had it's "pressure chamber" there.

The guy doing the demo was pretty cool and is oddly enough the guy in the video I found on youtube. He said the woofers (which are p3's) were only $300 and I kinda laughed to myself knowing how much AQ, DD, DC, Fi, SSA, IA, and others can give you, the customer, for only $300

The thing was pretty loud, but to me it sounded pretty muddy like something was clipping or being pushed a little too far. here's a video I found on youtube. I also entered to win a free RF amp and got a free t-shirt. not bad...

It was at our local shop 3 weeks ago. That same one actually. There are two and that one works the eastern portion of the US.(At least that's what the rep told me.) Anyways, I've metered both of them. Most recently, before one of the amps in the back blew (yeah... seriously it did.) I was able to see 151 with the door open. The mic was in the floor by the bench and against the far wall. Everywhere else it was 147-149ish. After the amp blew it couldn't touch a 149. When it sounds muddy, have them check the amps. That's because the woofers that aren't powered are just cancelling.

They came to a local shop near me a couple weeks ago. They are supposed to be able to put speakers in your carand power them with the van so you can see how they sound in your vehicle. **** thing was broke that weekend. Oh well.
