Rockford Fosgate P3 12" or Kicker CVR 12"?

Amp - I don't remember what the guy at the stereo shop reccomended. On my paper he wrote down 1600w (I know the one we picked was 1600w, just forgot the brand). He has 8004 Z written down, and the amp had a Z on it. Yeah, I'm a noob.

That was $460

Then another stereo shop suggested Rockford Fosgate (said like 450 for it, but the other shop I went to said if I went that route it'd be 350ish)

Granted, looking at the Rockford setup, can that amp even provide enough power to the sub, lol? I'm pretty noob to this, but I don't think it can.

Anyway, what kind of opinions, folks? I'd like to buy this weeek, which would you choose? And if neither, what would you get?

P3 to me is a nicer sub, the cvr might get louder, not really sure

but i would do the P3 and a p400-2 or 600-2 unless you want to step up to the t500-1

P3s are clean looking
