rockford fosgate 801s need help quick

ok guy has a fosgate 801s which i know does 800@4 ohms my question is this. how underrated is this amp? what could i realistically expect to see at 4 ohms?

basically here's the deal. i got a 1000 dual 2 ohm sub built by ssackett and i wanna make sure this thing will power it properly. guy has one local to me for only 120 bucks

its will be very close to a 1000. that amp is plenty strong

pretty much...but for the sake of knowing, its much closer to 1000 than 800
