Rockford Fosgate 300X Vs. the 301X

Rockford fosgate's new (this year model) 4 channel amp is the 301X, the old last years model was the 300X. For some reason though I find on the internet that the 300X doesnt sell for less than $180 but the 301X sells for like $130. Why is this the 301X is newer than the 300X? Is the 300X a better quality one?
