What I find hilarious is how hypocritical this Sam Haddock guy is. He was once a trainer, built the bull hooks he is saying are so bad, but now all of a sudden is holier than though and crying about it.... sounds to me like they pissed him off or fired him and now hes tattling on the industry much like Jose Canseco did when he needed money.

On her deathbed, his wife made him promise that he would stop, and he released these photos months before his own death of cancer. You should really stop presuming to know people that you obviously dont know.

Besides, those elephants weight how much? And do you know how many volts they are using to stimulate the responses? I highly doubt that they are being hurt. Scared... Maybe.

Horse, get branded, Cows get branded, Horses get whipped ... I don’t think anything of it.

If you’re suggesting that we sent them free to roam around in the wild then fine. Watch some poacher slaughter them.... Those elephants have it better than most.

For one, shes pretty hypocritical. She was fine putting the cash in the bank account until she was dying and wanted to make peace with god or whoever else she prays too, then it was this horrible act. I guarantee she didn't feel guilt cashing those checks.

see bolded, she made him promise to stop. she didnt make him tattle and try this whole smear campaign. Like her, he didn't have any guilt until his dying wife felt guilty. It's a shame she died and he lost his wife, but its just as hypocritical whether she died or not.

Sure a bullhook, or cattle prod may not be as painful to an elephant as it would a human or smaller animal but that is not the point. The point is these training techniques are very stressful on the animal, and often times leads to an unhealthy life. It is abuse on a few different levels. Some animals die from stress alone. Being tied down, jabbed with bullhooks, and shocked is stressful on any beast nevermind a BABY.
