Rifle Safe, which one?

Is it a case of you get what you pay for; or is there

a $1500 dumbass tax on the expensive ones?

They seem to vary quite a bit in price. I'd pay quite a bit including

a pro in-wall install if I had to. I don't know that it's necessary.

I want to hold a maximum of 10 rifles and 10 handguns, but I want

lots of left over room. I want it to be fire rated (not sure how many ratings

there are and how this effects the price).

The Brownings look nice, but so expensive.

On a side note I found a kickass picture while I was searching:

The maybe a edit would of been something to do. It right there doesn't hurt to use it . No need to get all your panties in a bunch and start calling me names. Because it really hurts my feelings.

In general, yes, you get what you pay for. A standard gun safe bolted down is better than the in wall types, unless you can completly conceal it. That does have it's own advantages. But you won't get 10 long guns in a wall safe. 4 tops.

Any safe can be broken into or destroyed by fire. It's simply a question of time. Better safes can keep back the thieves, or fire, longer than a cheap safe.

I have a cheap safe without fire proofing, because a cheap safe is still alot better than no safe.
