Hi guys, i had a 600 watts 4 channel kenwood amp with 2 CompVR 12" (150 rms for each sub), now i will buy the new RF P6001BD (300rms for each sub), the system will be a lot louder? this is a good amp for that kicker subs?. I will extra buy a rockford capacitor for the dimming lights in my car. 1 farad will be ok?. thx

unless you have a weak battery and low power alt, you should be ok with that amp and no cap's,

 

but the formula goes that you have to double your power to gain 3db's, so it should be a little louder, but not a ton louder, its mroe so about the box at the subs are in

I have a ported box tuned to 36hz, my batterie and alt is too weak i think. Maybe if i do the big 3 and a capacitor the dimming lights will stop? allways the car show me the batterie alarm when i start the AC, lights, etc. lol
