Anyone have a cheaper way to transmit a signal 50ft+ than buying a portable phone? I would like to get a signal that can be decoded on the receiving end, so obviously then it needs more than one input on the transmitting end. I saw a transmitting/receiving set of modules operating under ~900mhz but they were quite costly. The overall goal for this is to get multiple outputs from a ways away, and eventually on the transmitting end the signal would be controlled by a decoder (password setup).
