I'm about ready to pull the plug on my dealings with the worthless piece of crap online retailer that goes by the name True Value Electronics who is supposed to be replacing a defective Alpine 9887 I received from them. It takes them a week to respond to my emails (if they respond at all), and they keep giving me the run around about sending out my replacement HU. I'm about one day away from telling them I'm sick and tired of their BS and I just want a refund. Are there any other reputable online retailers besides Crutchfield that are authorized Alpine dealers, that also may have a little better prices than Crutchfield? If not, I'll just pay the price and order from Crutchfield this time around. I'm not dealing with these BS, no customer service places anymore just to save a few bucks!

Need more details. Are they authorized? How reputable are they? Who are they and how much cheaper are they? But again, I'm not going to sacrifice customer for saving some money. Not again.

My new 9887 showed up today. Those doosh bags were supposed to send me a tracking number when they shipped it. They didn't. No big surprise! Hopefully, I won't have any issues with this HU, and even if I do, I'll take care of it myself. I'm not dealing with those idiots ever again!

screw local shops. they over charge big time, and most of them do so-so work. i'll never buy from a local shop ever again.... ever!!!!

that same local shop will tell you that eq's eat up your power and are totally useless.... "man, that's old school, nobody runs eq's anymore"

id spend a little more and stick with Crutchfield

i ordered a Kenwood deck from them, the sub outputs went out. i called them up, they had me check of few things that didnt work, so they sent me a new deck over night

crutchfield sux balls too.... would never go through them. again, woofersect.com is the best place to go... PERIOD!
