Hey, I'm driving a 1995 Mercury Mystique that came equipped with the Ford Premium Sound System including the factory amp. A couple months back I replaced the 4 factory speakers and head unit. I just got a cheap amp/sub and am wondering if anyone knows how to get the amp hooked up to the speakers without rewiring them all. Here's the speaker output from the current amp. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v706/Tatsumi888/0511091527.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v706/Tatsumi888/0511091527a.jpg And here's the amp I got. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/pictures.php?id=9833 The head unit I currently have hooked up is the Sony Xplod CDX-GT300. http://www.xplodsony.com/files/manuals//CDX-GT300_Install_Manual.pdf I was thinking about getting one of these http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00032C2EW/ref=asc_df_B00032C2EW791568?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&tag=dealt5794-20&linkCode=asn and then cutting off one end, and extending the wire directly into the amp, and plugging the other end into the harness that goes to the speakers. Does anyone know if this would work? Also, the output to the speakers has the regular 8 wires, but then there are also 3 more, does anyone know what these are? Thanks a lot
