I was given a dual 10" ported box, tuned for a couple of SWR-1040 type r's one of the type r's was destroyed by my buddys dog jumping into his trunk., so i only got 1 of them, and i think he popped the vc on it, its a single 4ohm vc, 300wrms, 1000w peak, is it possible to get the vc replaced, or am i better off buying a new sub?

it still "works" but doesnt sound good at all. ( i dont know what amp he was using nor what im going to use yet)

thx

check the wiring on the sub .... may be loose somewhere. i resoldered my orion VC when my friend yanked it ...... i yanked his ear when he did it and threw him to the ground //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
