removing pt cruiser radio?

What year Cruiser do you have? I'm not sure about the '06's and newer, but the 2000's to 2005's are very simple.

For those years, just pull of the HVAC knobs then pry off the window switch bracket (it just snaps in place.) Disconnect the wiring harness (remember to pull up the red tab to unlock the harness). There will be a single phillips head screw holding on the center console. Remove the screw and the console will pull right off.

The radio is held in place by a couple of screws. That's all there is to it.
