removing glue?

if it's on a window just use a razor blade and scratch it off..

yes... please dont take a razor blade to the heating elements on your rear window.... some sort of solvent should work. Maybe acetone, or PPG DX-330 is what I would use if you can find some

rubbing alcohol, acetone, "goo gone" all will work

Make sure when you do clean it, rub along with the heating lines, not against them. You can damage them if you're not careful.
