Anyone have experience with this, I want to make it look a little cleaner and remove the Civic and LX off the rear of my car, it's glue on, and I will be using a hair dryer, my question is will this leave a different color pain where civic use to be? or would it be some type of glue that I will have to remove, if you have any experience with this, please let me know, thanks.

Also not sure what they're called, but I want to remove those black strips that run down the side of the car about half way up and down of the doors.

watch how long you have the heat gun on there, and just use some strong floss to wedge the stuff off there. Then its a lot of tar remover and similar products to get the glue off. The paint underneath will potentially look newer than your exposed paint. It depends on how fair you've been treating your car.

i took the symbols off my neon with floss and it just left some glue behind. I just such some rubbing alcohol and scrubbed for awhile and then did some polish and now you cant tell it was ever there.

removing the pinstripe may be a little diffucult and very time consuming to do it right.

as for the emblems. depending on year i wouldn't just run out there and rip them off. some of them are in there with pins. i've seen some hondas where people take off the H emblem and have 2 little holes in the trunk where the pins used to go.

Alright I just took them off and yes the Honda emblem left two tiny holes, I guess I will just ignore that since it doesn't really go directly into my trunk, and I have some goof off or something I will use, thanks for the help.
