would there be a big differemce in sound quality between the 2.I run sd card in my hu and was wondering if the quality would change with an hd sd card.

You mean SDHC cards? As far as I know, there is no difference, but sometimes SDHC cards arent able to be used in things that take regular SD cards.

I don't see how either would be better for "sq". HDC is just denser so they have more capacity limits and generally faster access. These do not translate into better SQ as they are not processing the signal one bit. They merely pass along the 1s and 0s.
