Trying to figure out which amp to buy to power my FiQ 18"

Would a sundown1000 NOT BE ENOUGH because a new Sundown1000 is $309.

IMO... the 1000D would work quite well for you. Many people prefer to run a 1500D on their Q, but it's not entirely necessary.
