reconing MT?

can an MT be reconed with another RE cone or is it not possible? (ie: mx 18 when they come out with one)

if so, will it affect performance of the MT spl wise? i really like the sx and mx cones(not the sx 18 tho cuase it has the dust cap, i like the 10 12 and 15 sx)

FYI: The MX uses a 4" coil, the MT only uses a 3".

And the MX 18 will probably use the same method, trim down the cone size dustcap to a smaller one.That's how they've done it with the SX and XXX.Then again I'm just assuming here.

Overall I just don't think it'd work with the 12 spoke basket.

You can't fit something 4" in diameter in a hole made for something with a 3" diameter.Best way I can say it.

yeah soon after that last post... i realized what you were talking about and... even if the coil was the same in diameter i don't think the soft parts could handle the motor of the MT
