recommend me 6.5 comps

the car is a 01' chevy blazer dr,i want to get a pair of comps for my front door panels. i bought some id ctx6.5 comps but my installer said the mounting depth was to deep so i guess some smaller depth my budget is $190. i listen to hiphop trance i already have 12in L7 so i wont be needing out of the comps.

Pretty much. As thick as it needs to be to give it enough room.

yes it will be a spacer.. depending on the room in front of the speaker it should work.. if they try and charge you anything over like $15 for the spacers buy them here or find someone local who can make them..

You'll get a measuring tape, or ruler of some kind, and measure out how much room you need vs how much room you have, and make the spacer big enough to work for it.

how deep are the speakers? how deep can they be?
