really really really simple crossover question

So if the cross over for the sub is set to 80hz should the crossover for the speakers be set as close as possible to that, so say if they are set to 100 I'd be missing part of my music right?

no because of slope. It doesn't magically cut off like a switch

almighty thank you, its described as not allowing certain frequencies so thats why assumed it does cut off ordinarily like a switch.

I'd prolly shoot for a 12 db slope between those two points. Maybe 18. Hard to say...I'm active so I can switch between to see which one I like better.
