Okay so I bough a dc level 4 xl 18(love the sub) sounds great on my audioque 2200d, but now its time to upgrade I was thinking 2 dc level 4 xl 18 but a new one is pricy at 510$, so I was thinking of doing a level 6 18 which is 1300$ and sell my 18 my other option or I was thinking of sell my dc and getting 3 audioque 18 copper coils because there on sale for 280$? what would u guys do the most rms I can run is 6k keep in mind

I would sell your DC and get the 3 AQ 18s if you have enough room for them. Or maybe do like 4 Level 4 18s? How much space do you have?

its in a shorty escalade i can do the 4 it would be like a steve meade box but it would choke the **** outta the subs i rather do 3 espically since the aq's like big boxes

OP, sell your DC and go with the 3 HDC 18s, they will be your best bet for sure. Cone area ftw.

yea thats what I think im actally gonna do 3 18's is gonna be mean on a 7.5k dc amp or a 5k gotta see with money. now I see you run dc also, why would you recommend do you also like audioque, would u wanna buy my 18 lol

DC in my sig is actually long gone. It was a good sub, but right now I have 2 12s in a sealed box on lower power that are just as loud if not louder. I would recommend DC if you are buying used, but they arent worth the price new(at least not the LVL4 with 5 coils like I had...) I have never even heard an Audioque sub honestly, but from all the praise they get, and the lower price, they seem to be a good deal. I would buy your 18 if you sold it for a good price. Not gonna pay normal price for it though since I dont need it.
