RE12 vs CVR12

Hi all,

I was wondering should I go with 2 kicker cvr12's or to re12's

Which one hits better gets louder etc. I was going to go with the kicker but let me know what you guys think.

wich kind of re's because in the first thread it only says re12's I would recommend the sx or the xxx

I think he means the RE RE 12. Sorry but I don't have experience with either woofer.

yeah, i meant the re re12. I can't afford the the sx, so I was looking for a budget subwoofer.

RE RE's arent out(except for the 8's). If your looking for a budget sub(that can also pound the CVR) look at the RE SE.

why are people so quick to recommend top of the line subs? I honestly think that for the casual user some nice budget subs are great. Sure a XXX is nice but if you've never had a system before, and aren't trying to get into a competition a pair of CVR12s will sound great to you. Based on that I think you should get either of the two you listed. They are decent budget subs and I doubt you'd here the difference in them. You could also look at Phoenix Gold Ti 12"s and the Alpine Type Rs. If you have no system at all right now I think you'll be satisfied with any of those.

Umm, i recommended the SE's. They are alot cheaper than a XXX. I've heard some VR's and were pleased with them, just no SQ.

I love it when people say, "You don't have to recommend the top of the line sub." And then moves on to recommend TWO subs. As if one driver isn't plenty for a decent setup...

Anyways. I like eD for budget bass.

I will probably go with the two Kicker CVR12's. I think the two kickers would be louder than one RE SE12. Thanks for the replys guys. Im only running two pioneer 10's right now in some sealed pre-fab ghetto ported truck boxes, so anything should be better than that.
