RE XXX18 powah

I've had my XXX 18 for awhile now and i don't know what to power it with. It states on the website 1600watts RMS and 2500watts Max so i was thinking 2000watts @ 1 Ohm. Maybe a Soundstream PCA2000D. HOWEVER the guy i initially bought it off of said that it would be ok to run it with the Orion 2500D and it would be ok but i don't wanna kill it so i was wonderin what would be a better choice (PCA2000D or Orion2500D)?

use the orion he recommended, if set up correctly if shouldnt be overpowering it at all

well 1600 would be plenty but hy settle when you can have a good amp thats going cheap atm for future upgrading if needed

youll probably make it stink from that 2500d if your not careful

It should handle a 2500d.

Just be really careful with your gains and keep a close ear and nose when you crank the happy knob.
