So what? You openly criticize someone that has the sole purpose of expanding thier knowledge?

expanding your knowledge and being lazy about a question is 2 different things. now i sit here on my own personal time and try to help absolutly every member i can with questions. I actually look for the guys who have posted with no response to give them a helping hand. but when the same question is asked over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over it is just rediculous.

Car Audio prices are high, people simply want to know that thier money isn't going to waste.

Unfortunately, the majority of people don't use the search function. The biggest reason is because the search button is a tiny, barely readable image in the corner of the site - unless you know it's right there, you don't even realize it exists. And the 4-letter requirement makes it hard to search for a whole lot of common terms - sub, amp, xxx, w7, l7, se, etc etc.. While you can just throw an asterisk (*) on the end of the term to make it work, most people don't know about that feature.

So I think it's a waste of time to get mad at people who don't search first, but I do agree it's annoying when there are multiple threads with the same or very similar questions on the front page of a forum.

I understand the frustration. However, a thread like this and an attitude of this nature simply drive people away. They don't belong on a public forum of this type.

Regardless, I don't see an overwhelming number of "what amp for my RE" posts on any of the forums tonight.

Either way, if it becomes frustrating to you, simply pass it by. Others are on the forums to answer as well.

Some may not feel the other questions are specific enough to thier own system, so they ask thier own.

Personally, I would rather have a more specific way of asking the same question.

It may make more sense to some that way.....
