It really depends what you are looking for. If you care so much about dbs, go with the SX

Yeah but would the bl be that much louder than the Q??? And have you ever heard a FI Q Or BL??? See fi is kinda new to me are they all that great?

Of the two, I'd Pick the Q over the SX.

IMO the SX sounds like ***.

The Re Sx sounds decent IMO but will get very loud given the proper enclosure. I run more SPL oriented subs any way such as DD9512/9912 Mmats JUGG's IA DP 12's even ran a SOLO X and many more. So for what im used to it didnt sound bad at all. I ran some more SQ oriented subs and could tell the Difference again given the proper enclosure. A great SQ?SPL sub IMO is a older XXX thats a great mix of both worlds.

you know what we cant say what your ears like to hear or what you definition of loud is. Go with any of the 2 and youll be happy.

I like the BL better then the sx in sq and spl. BL doesn't sound bad at all and gets louder then the Q. I have used all 3 of these subs, they are all good so whichever you get you should be happy. I personally would go with BLs

See My first sub was a comp/spl type speaker and it sounded like poo and did'nt last that long

ive owned the 18" BLs when they first came out and i just got my 2 18" RE SX's all i can say is i love the SXS! i agree the BLs have a tad bit better sq but all out loudness id go SX's all the way! 140s with 2 15" SXs and an decent amp should be very Easy to accomplish!

From a lot of other's testing, the sx didn't come out to be a very loud driver.
