Sweet, IMO that was the perfect loud and clean system before going outrageously loud and diggin into ur pocket....

I have heard both and like the SE better. Sounds better and is every bit as loud on equal power. SSD isn't much more than a street beater for kids IMO. Built like a tank, but is more on par SQ wise with Kicker, RF, etc. Loud and kind of sloppy sounding, with a lot of overhang to my ears, and that was even in recommended volume sealed box at rms rated power, with copper coil. SE gets loud and sounds good doing it, and is pretty indestructible as well.
