RE Reseller ripping me off???

I contacted RE and they gave me a guy to contact that gave me a guy in quebeqe cause im in ontario... i asked the price for a 10" RE XXX, and he said $750??? canadian... but i read a few times here that it was about $359usd, wich at the current exchange is like $470 canadian.....

So wtf is going on? hehe, is $359 the real price in usd? im just curiouse if he's ripping me off or somthing... numbers dont match up unless the numbers i have are incorrect.

im pretty sure 359 is about the real price. i got the prices for each sub from RE, and im pretty sure its around 359.

Yes they are more expencive in canada because of taxes and brokorage(Sp?) i think

When GCA had them, they were right up around there.

When you figure in dealer markup/brokerage fees/shipping costs ... I think that's right where it should be.

$750 CAD = $570 USD

Figure $360 + $70 shipping (at least) (UPS) + killer brokerage fees and you get up there in a hurry. Plus dealer markup, of course.

A Brahma 15" is only $600 from Creativesound.ca
