Might be a business decision to do with parts availability/inventory. If they don't have many in stock, and they need what they have in stock, then they aren't going to waste them on reconing some other brand's sub for "some guy".Wait. RE told me they couldn't currently recone a 4" sub, but the 'destroyer' that's being custom made is a 4" coil....
