Sold RE MT15D2 CHEAP, also XXX12D2

I have a used set of RE MT15D2 subs that i need to get rid of. A customer purchased these items from my shop, and was told that these subs are not for Music. Well he decided that we was wrong and well guess what. He played music thru these subs. so needless to say the spiders self destructed. I have reconed the one sub, and the other was undamaged. I will have to say that the reconed sub is not pretty, but it works flawlessly. just like the other. I will sell the pair for $500.00 plus shipping if needed.

I also have a set of the 07XXX12D2 that i am wanting to sell also. I used these subs in my car for a few months until i decided that i needed something a little more practical. ( I drive a mustang and 300 LBS in the trunk of my car was way tooo much) Once again, these 2 subs are flawless. The subs was powered by a MD3D. Never clipped or ran hard. coils have a beautiful copper color. Will take $750.00 for the pair plus shipping.

Well in light or recent events on the MT Subs. I tested the coils this morning, one sub is a Dual 1 ohm coil, and the reconed sub is a dual 2 ohm coil. RE SCREWED ME.....so the subs will be sold seperately.

Do the d2 coils read 2.0? Im pretty sure my d2 is actually 1.4 each

****.. I got a couple of these a few years ago for a hell of a deal and didnt have them in the right box. My dumbass traded them for what I got them for.. I have always wanted another pair just to see.... Guess its going to be a single 95. Thanks though

Just to help out if anyone is scared.. MT beat thier *** off.. i dont care what anyone tells you . ive got cars running around all over with kicker 2500s.. up to memphis 4ks on each.. with ZERO woofer issues...i just chimmed in because it bugs me all the know it alls who claim these **** for music , the gaps to tight blah blah... good luck with the sale.. im actaully looking for a 4th motor.. you decide to give one of these woofers away.. let me know.

well, the only thing i have to say, is call Greg From RE. He will tell you otherwise. The ones i have do have the Quad Spider Setup. We built the perfic enclosure, with 2200 watts of good clean power. Yes, they beat their *** off until the spider self destructed. Coil was perfic, motor everything looked brand new. It was just the spider. After talking to Greg he told me that the quad spider was intended for one purpose SPL bURPS, with high power. I live in the barracks, so I dont really have a street address. The things are way to big to try to ship to my company.
We could try, street, building number, room number. Put ins on it where I have to sign and maybe they will just hold it at the UPS? Yes I will pay for it all.

What:wow:? I've had woofers/amps, even 4 new tires shipped to me from tirerack.com, it goes to the main mail processing place on base and you go pick it up when they drop the "item to large" paper in your box.

I was wanting to be honest dude. that is what i was told that they was built to do, so i wanted to make **** sure that whoever purchased them was well informed...simple as that. I appreciate your input, but i am stating what i was told by the engineer that builds the darned things.

So i don't feel that i shot myself in the foot. If somebody is needing a badass sub, i have a dual 1 ohm, and a dual 2 ohm...Now if they try playing music thru them, and they dont hold up. they was informed..

Once again, thanks for doing what you can to try and help me sell them..Seriously, i do appreciate it...
