thats ok....yesterday i went up to my local tweeter and i was looking at the boston z6, mb quartz Q's and the boston pro60(i think), as well as the alpine 300(touchscreen). i put the tuner on and i was playing the music about the volume of about 10(which isnt very high, im not too sure how high an alpine units volume goes). the next thing i know the car audio guy walks in and tells me that i need to turn it down and take it off the radio because the static is going to blow up the speakers. hmmm i didnt know a little bit of bad resception and powering the speakers at 75watts can make them blow up at low volume. what a dumbass

haha yeah i had a guy from a local shop tell me that theres no such thing as an amp that will put out 1000 watts at one ohm. hes like.. wow thats like serious competition grade stuff only man.. im sure somethin like that would have to be custom made and cost you thousands
