I need to remove this and then scrape the trunk bed to expose bare metal. Do i need to disconnect the negative on my battery under the hood if i want to do this? I mean i just want to be safe when i do this, mind you i did not install my amp but the guy who did, did not ground the amp properly. So before i disconnect the ground on my amp, should i disconnect the ground on my bat? or anything else i need to disconnect?</p></blockquote><p></p>
