RD HW up for trade..

Ok so I got everything in, started to play the HW and I realized that its coils are messed up. There is no damage cosmetically, the sub looks new but it may need a recone. I was not the person that damaged the sub, I was told it was new.

So basically im looking to trade for a 15" sub that will take 3k daily and works, I will post pics when im off work and you can easily get in contact with steve at rd audio for inquiry on a recone.

Im losing out big time on this, great sub I really wish it would play right. I know it would have laughed at my rd 3250.1.

i have had one come to me new with a misaligned coil. but you could tell right away. just by puhing on the coil. recones are about 90 bucks from RD audio.

sbeatz, I paid him 500 and now im pretty much out that money, I will settle for something less, a sub that is around 250 and can take a good amount of power (around 3k).

Make me offers people, the sub looks really good and is a monster, it will destroy pretty much any other sub out there. You want loud, then give me something to trade for.

you know if you talk to steve miller at RD and tell him your situation he is usually very very helpful in spots like this. recones arent hard.....shove some shims in between the pole and coil,make it tight and even, lay down glue. push the recone down. and clamp down the spider and surround. let dry and tada lol. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I am going to go ahead and jump in on this before a bunch of finger pointing gets started. First off the sub was brand new. The sub you have came from me. I Had Steve Miller of RD Audio build that sub. After I got the sub from him I was going to start on my new wall, but before I could even start buildng the ****** in my car went out. In order to fix my car I had to sell all 4 HW's that I had. I sold one of my HW's to sbeatz. I can tell you right now they are brand new never used subs. This is what it sounds like to me and I will tell you why. The motor has shifted due to misshandling from the shipping company. This is why I believe this, I sold 2 of those HW's to RAB on here and the first sub I shipped the basket was cracked. So, I shipped another one to him, and even built a crate so it could survive shipping and this is how it arrived at his door.

Alex (RAB) sent me the first sub back which has a crack in the basket. I took it to Steve's shop and he was going to recone it, but when he free aired the sub the sub wouldn't move. He noticed that the top plate had shifted on the sub. So Steve cut the sub apart to see if the motor was shot. Steve told me that he could not even get is spacing guage to go down into the motor. With all this being said sounds to me that the sub got damaged in shipping.

That is very true as well, I just don't think it is right to do finger pointing on this. Sbeatz is a good guy, it sucks that this has happened.

Ok well I never said sbeatz was a scammer just said that the trasaction was sketchy, but what do you think I could do I mean shouldnt steve take care of me since I got his sub new with a misaligned coil?

I have been putting this system together very slowly and it sucked that right when everything was done and ready to bump the sub doesnt work.

As for shipping the box was not in very bad condition honestly, but I will tell you what im out another 300 on a battery that someone sent me because ups ****ing dropped it so many times it looked like there was barely any packaging left....

Im really not trying to bash him, I dont know the guy, but I do know I have been texting him and he has been corresponding and trying to help. I think he is going to contact steve and see what the deal is for me.

This sucks because its setting me back big time.
