I was riding down the road and all the suddon my amp began to short out and then stopped working i tested the groud, its fine, then the power, it is fine no blown fuses or anything, then i checked my remote wire and its fine b/c the fan and amp is comming on, then i checked the speakers by hooking them up to my headunit they work fine. and the only thing that is left is the amps rca plugs on the side so i bought a new rca 15 foot cable and hooked it up and it still didnt work. So its either the amps rca female connectors or could it be my headunits female rca connectors (but i have tried all 3 sets on it)? I know it has to be either one of these 2 so how can I test if these connectors are functioning, wil it show a voltage with a meter or what, please help me.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

2 infinity 1242's

Cadence TXA750D amp wired at 1 ohm mono pushing ~600 watts

Pioneer headunit

us an ipod or other audio device with audio out and use a auxiliary to RCA cable and connect it directly to your amp. that should tell you if the problem is at the rca's or not (as long as the rest of the wiring is good)
