It's a few years older than me... I guess back in that era of car audio, headunits had a lower output range, in comparison to modern ones. Or maybe this amp was a low end one, but either way, the gain control goes from .5 - 1v, and the RCA's I have running to it are 2v. So at around 60% volume my speakers clip BAD. Sounds real dirty n shiz.</p><p></p><p><strong>The Fix:</strong> Here's where I need your help! Can I use a cheap PAC or Axxess brand RCA line level "bass/gain knob" to lower my 2v to 1v?
