If he had hit the homerun off of anyone but Jose Valverde I would agree with you. ****** ******* ruined a well pitched game by Fister and the rest of the bullpen and gave up a 4 run lead.

Valverde has now pretty much given up more runs in the post season than all Tigers starters have combined. He blew game 4 in oakland and then tonight. I understand a closer is going to blow it here and there but its the timing of the failure that hurts. Not sure why he was even pitching to begin with. Valverde is historically bad in non save situations and Leyland of all people should have known that.

Didm't put any weiggt in it either. Literally none, had to be helped off. With A-Rod, Cano, Grandeeson, & Swisher batting a collective .150 we can't lose Jeter.
